On Friday, March 7, the Senate State and Local Government Committee will meet to discuss HB 1255, a bill that would eliminate state funding for Prairie Public. This bill has already passed in the House, 48-41.

If you would like to share your thoughts about this bill with the committee, you can submit a short written testimony by Friday, March 7, at 8am CT. If you believe that state funding should continue for Prairie Public, your letter should be written in opposition to HB 1255.

Learn more here about Prairie Public's value in North Dakota. In addition to submitting written testimony, you can also contact your senate representative to share what Prairie Public means to you.
