Reporter Danielle Webster has begun hosting radio newscasts every half-hour from 3-6pm, providing regional news during the afternoon drive time. This change allows current host Todd McDonald to producer longer feature stories of local interest.

The North Dakota Senate voted 41-6 to defeat HB 1255, which would have prohibited state funds to support public broadcasting.

While this is great news for Prairie Public, our funding still needs to be restored in this year’s biennial budget, as it was previously removed by the North Dakota House following the initial passage of HB 1255. We will keep you updated as we learn more about our funding for the 2025-27 biennium.
